CTA Introduction

International Standard Cayman Management (ISCM) was formed in 2003 and was owned by Roy Sher. The first fund launched was the International Standard Gold Fund a Cayman Island registered fund, which traded gold and gold mining shares on a discretionary basis. In June 2007 ISCM launched The international Standard Macro Fund and in August of 2008 Stanley Fink joined Roy Sher and formed a new Cayman Management company International Standard Asset Management (ISAM). International Standard Asset Management (ISAM) is a fund manager that provides alternative investment products to institutions, family offices and private individuals. The CEO, Stanley Fink and the senior management team have over 100 years of experience in fund’s management, notably Man Group Plc. In February 2010 ISAM formally announced a strategic alliance with Hite Capital Management that resulted in Larry Hite and his key senior managers becoming shareholders in ISAM. The immediate benefit for ISAM was access to the Hite investment programme Hite Futures Strategy (now ISAM Systematic). The team now assembled formerly ran Mint, the first CTA to pass USD1 billion assets under management and which was a 15 yr joint venture with Man Group under Stanley Fink’s tenure at Man. For over 30 years the team has been constructing, testing and trading trend following investment programs. Hite Capital Management has a 9 year track record delivering annualized returns of 17.96%. The Mint track record precedes this and dates from 1981.
