What is different about the new IASG.com?
The new IASG.com approaches alternative investments from a social investing perspective. The goal is to multiply web traffic exponentially and offer investors the ability to use IASG.com as a platform to engage Alternative Investment Managers, Trading System Vendors, and other businesses on a 1-on-1 basis. While many features are still pending, the new IASG.com represents the foundation for a new and revolutionary approach to meeting and helping investors.
What are Groups?
Groups are organizations of Users gathered for a single purpose. In a business sense, a Group is the company; and in a social sense, it is an organization of investors. Whereas IASG.com used to be designed only for Commodity Trading Advisors, the new IASG.com enables the creation of Groups for many different types of companies: Commodity Pool Operators, Trading System Vendors, Registered Investment Advisors and more! An example of a Group is a Commodity Trading Advisor.
What are Products?
Products are goods or services sold by business-oriented Groups. For Commodity Trading Advisors, their Products may be a Managed Account. For Commodity Pool Operators, a Product may be a Commodity Pool. Organizing Products under a Group enables Users to clearly identify investment programs with their respective investment managers.
Why do I not see my Group or Products listed?
Presently, IASG.com is filtering out any Products from the Performance Page that have not updated their performance for the prior two months. Your Group or Product is not deleted. As soon as you update your performance, your program will reappear on this page. Please login and click "Add Data" to update performance.
My username and password from the old IASG.com is not working. How do I login?
In the switchover from the old to new platform, we were unable to recover passwords. If you had an account with the old IASG.com, your new username is your e-mail address and your new password is your old username. If you have trouble finding your password, please use http://www.iasg.com/users/forgotpassword to have your password e-mailed to you.
I can login, but I do not see my company or programs. How do I administer these?
On the old IASG.com, you may have created multiple user accounts-one of which has the rights to administer your company (Group) and investment programs (Products). You may be logging in with an account that does not have these rights. To request your new account be added as an administrator, please send a request to info@iasgmail.com with your username (e-mail address), the URL of the Group, and contact information so we can verify your identity.
Where do I add performance data?
When you login, you should click ADD DATA next to a particular program to update your performance data. If you do not see this, you may not have administrator privileges for this Group. Please see the question above for more information.
