CTA Introduction

Paul Furlow and Aaron Mobarak are Co-Presidents of Dixon Midland Company. They are responsible for the overall operation, risk-management, investment allocation and futures trading operations of the fund. They each own 50% of the management company. They have invested US$7.15 million in the fund. Prior to establishing the fund in May 2011, Mr. Furlow and Mr. Mobarak managed two lower-middle-market private equity funds. The first fund was launched in 1998 and delivered a 73% IRR to investors. The second fund was launched in 2004 and delivered an 18% IRR to investors. Prior to his work with Dixon Midland Company, Mr. Furlow worked at McKinsey & Co. and Wasserstein Perella & Co. He has MBA and an MA, Education from Stanford University and an undergraduate degree in mathematics and economics from the University of Michigan. Prior to his work with Dixon Midland Company, Mr. Mobarak worked at McKinsey & Co. and Arthur Anderson & Co. He has an MBA from Harvard Business School and an undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Illinois.
