CTA Introduction

Mobius Asset Management is proud to offer three trading programs: Energy, Custom, and Diversified. Each program has a minimum track record of five years of trading and presents a unique opportunity for investors to greater diversify with a team committed to risk management and providing consistent rates of return.

John R. McLane is president and a principal of Mobius Asset Management, Inc., a Commodity Trading Advisor in Scottsdale, Arizona. John graduated from Xavier University in 1974 having earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. In 1977 he joined Merrill Lynch in Rochester, New York as a futures specialist. Over the course of the next eighteen years John was employed as a futures specialist with several of the large brokerage firms such as E.F. Hutton, Dean Witter (now Morgan Stanley) and Prudential Securities in both New York and Arizona.
Starting in 1991 John began researching and developing various systematic trading methodologies for use in the futures markets. They eventually evolved into the trading programs currently offered by Mobius Asset Management, Inc. In 1997 he formed Mobius Asset Management, Inc. and registered with the National Futures Association and Commodity Futures Trading Commission as a Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA).

Howell S. Wynne is the Vice-President and a principal of the Advisor. Mr. Wynne has been a self employed investor and business consultant since 1981. Mr. Wynne has been active in the oil and gas business along with several other businesses where he holds majority interests.
Mr. Wynne was registered as an Associated Person from May 22, 1990 until January 30, 1993 and listed as a Principal from October 26, 1989 until January 30, 1993 of Deangelis Trading Corporation. Additionally, Mr. Wynne was listed as a principal from July 28, 1988 until January 30, 1993 and registered as an Associated Person from July 28, 1988 until January 30, 1993 and a Branch Office Manager from October 16, 1991 until January 30, 1993 of Crown Capital Management, Inc.
Mr. Wynne was born in 1959 and is a 1981 graduate of Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. Mr. Wynne resides and works in Rancho Santa Fe, California.
