Summary

The Global Markets Fund is a unique, higher-volatility systematic trend following fund. It trades a very diverse universe of futures markets, including smaller and less conventional commodities. The fund seeks to capture price trends and accepts volatility in the pursuit of high absolute returns. To protect existing investors and maintain full trade sizing capability across its universe, the fund's AUM are capped at about €500 million. Following an ensemble approach, the fund trades a combination of robust, trend-based systems across multiple trading speeds and methods in parallel. Positions are sized so that each can contribute an equal amount of initial risk to the portfolio. An important part of the risk management process is to keep losing trades small while allowing winning trades to run on, creating positive trade asymmetry. This page shows the performance of the Takahe Global Markets Master Fund. This is a Cayman Islands-domiciled master fund which can be accessed via two feeder funds: the Takahe Global Markets Fund, LP (Delaware, USA), and the Takahe Global Markets Fund (Cayman Islands). Investors are not able to invest directly in the Global Markets Master Fund. Rather, they must invest through a connected feeder fund, each of which has several share classes. Net returns displayed herein are calculated by the funds' administrator and represent an asset-weighted blend of all feeder funds and all feeder fund share classes, which includes a blend of the applicable performance fee for each class of fund.
