Gamma-Q, LLC was formed in 2006. The firm is an Ohio-based alternative asset management firm registered with the National Futures Association as a CTA and CPO. The firm is also registered with the SEC as an RIA. Gamma-Q acts as the general partner for two funds, Gamma Fund and Breckhurst Commodity Fund, L.P.
Gamma Fund, LLC and Breckhurst Commodity Fund, L.P. are discretionary funds focused on agricultural and livestock markets. The funds rely on fundamental research to formulate core views and generate optimal trades. The firm's principals have strong physical commodity trading backgrounds, which provide critical insight into the supply and demand of individual markets.
The strategy consists of both directional trades and relative value trades, depending on which one best expresses a fundamental view.
